Lisa Baldwin

Lisa has a diverse litigation practice representing a variety of clients in state and federal courts across the country. Lisa’s practice includes complex commercial class actions, securities fraud, energy and natural resource litigation, pharmaceutical litigation, and business and commercial disputes.

Lisa’s experience includes representing Oklahoma royalty owners in state and federal courts and the Oklahoma Corporation Commission in individual and class actions resulting in the recovery of hundreds of millions in unpaid royalties.  In 2015, Lisa along with the NPR team and co-counsel tried to judgment a declaratory judgment action and won a judgment on four key issues of Oklahoma royalty law.

Lisa was one of the lead members of the trial team in the firm’s representation of the State of Oklahoma in the first trial in the country against opioid manufacturers for their role in creating the opioid crisis. The firm’s representation of the State of Oklahoma in opioid litigation has so far led to over $600 million in settlements.

In 2014, Lisa, along with the NP team and co-counsel, represented the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations in an action alleging the federal government mismanaged over 1.3 million acres of the Nations’ timber lands resulting in a $186 million historic settlement for the Nations.

Lisa also has successfully represented institutional investors in securities litigation against large financial institutions resulting in the recovery of hundreds of millions for investors.

Lisa was born and raised in New York and obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. Lisa received her law degree at the University of Texas School of Law. At UT Law, Lisa studied international law in Chile and Argentina.

Lisa is admitted to practice in all state courts in Texas, New York, and Oklahoma.
